Each year in early may, the Don Watershed Council organises a canoe trip down the Don. It starts in Serena Gundy Park on the West Don, continues past the Forks of the Don, down the Lower Don, through the Keating Channel, into the inner harbour and finishes at Harbourfront.
Not for the faint of heart, it has considerable white-water in the upper reaches and 3 portages.
